I was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I moved to the Twin Cities for college. I decided to pursue journalism due to my love of writing and learning about the world around me. Throughout my time as a student journalist, I developed an interest in community journalism and focusing on local news. 

Most recent jobs: 

- As part of a class, I interned on The Minnesota Star Tribune's food and culture desk during the fall 2025 semester. I mostly previewed events happening in the Twin Cities area. 

- After working at the Minnesota Daily for a year and a half,  I began my one-year term as the editor-in-chief of The Minnesota Daily, the University of Minnesota's student newspaper. I managed the newsroom's logistical side and worked with the Daily's board of directors to support the staff and their work. 

- I began working for the University of Minnesota's student newspaper, the Minnesota Daily, in 2023. Throughout my time there, I covered news and events on and around campus. 

- I freelanced for a news outlet in Madison, Wisconsin, Madison365. I wrote about four stories total.
